Hahaha I see you didn't wait a second to check out “Aishite Aishite Aishite” too lol. I had checked it out immediatly when it released for me and started notewatching the Utattemita Album but ended up spending a part of the evening/night in VC with friends on the Ado Discord server and then I just wanted to sleep lol. As someone said about “Aishite Aishite Aishite”, "She didn't have to cook this hard, but she did and it works!". I did notice the G♯6 at 3:26 (but 3:02 goes E5-C5) and will definitely bold the black G♯5 instead of the falsetto one from her karaoké performance. Happy to see your enthusiasm towards the covers album! I'll notewatch it today~
As for the “Show” scream, I suppose other people identified it as a B♭6 because it would've fit the key better, however I am entirely certain it is dead on B6. Speaking of “Show”, I have received quite a few messages even outside of the TRP circle about the E2 and how people find it strong/countable or don't understand why it was passed as questionable (even though we've already debated around the reason here). However I don't want to be mischevious by adding it back sneakily so I'd only put it back if we agreed it is fine to do so, but to be honest I don't really feel like debating about it all over again lol
Edit: Done notewatching the Utattemita Album, and I double checked the frequencies of the B6 for peace of mind. B♭6 is 1865 hz, B6 is 1976 hz, C7 is 2093 hz, and Ado's scream peaks at 1980 hz (with the distortion of the scream in fact it also goes up to 2000 hz-ish, but the "core" of the pitch is at 1980 hz)
On another topic, I'm considering adding a "Best vocal performances" section here (which would be the first time in one of my threads), and already considered like 8 songs for this section. How does that sound?

I listened to Villain. Where is there a lead F#6 in that? My only guess is that some of her squeaks or cracks are up there and you counted that...? Or did I just miss a whole whistle note? LOL

1:29. I usually don't count these unless they're repeated at the same pitch, but here the pitch was really clear and it was an intentional part of the verse since she did it live too. The way it was executed also sounds controlled to me if it makes sense? Because it was clear and directly on F♯6 rather than randomly ascending to a pitch with poor quality (as intentional as the tone might have been), and those exclamations are pretty hard to pull off with clear pitch, so I feel like it works here. Comparatively there's that G♯6 at 2:56 where the pitch is really sudden, particularly short, and I'm not quite sure how intentional it is, hence the [1]; it feels more random than the F♯6 to me at least.

Does Ado have the potential to become the best singer in the world? Considering she is still very young with diverse and versatile vocal techniques and a wide vocal range

I don't think that's a question I (or anyone really) can answer given how subjective it can be. Personally, I hope she can become even more widely known and well regarded than she is at the moment, and since she's having a nice growth both on a vocal technique and popularity point of view, it's looking good in my opinion

m.youtube.com/watch?v=S-UjN-SWpVcThis performance of Show on Kouhaku Uta Gassen includes several screams that might be up there with her B6 or higher(?) Haven't pitched them but they sounded notable!!

Hey, yeah I saw the performance but got a little busy, I'll update the thread now. She goes up to C7 at 0:39. She also has two B♭6's and a B6 on top of my head, but the most notable in there is definitely the C7

Where exactly is the Bb6 in Faking of Comedy? I listened and def heard the high octave but only spotted an F#6, maybe because I went through too cursorily..

2:35! "Hontou no koto wa wakara nai" I'm only hearing an F#6 in octave unison... does the whistle diverge from the octave and go higher? Or is there another higher harmony there? Can't hear it well...

does the whistle diverge from the octave and go higher? It does yes, on this specific note. I checked on the spectrogram to see if it's really there or if it's just me hearing an harmony illusion and yes it's really there

Does Ado have the potential to become the best singer in the world? Not as long as Lewis Capaldi is around.

1:48 in the back on the "Ah yeah", and if you don't hear it, it's also there in the remix at 1:32. Pretty sure it's not pitch-shifted given how it sounds like her other whistles but with a some sort of saturation effect over it

I doubt that's a real C7 she sang. Super suspicious to me, I'd just put it in the spoilers lol

Thing is, I isolated the vocals to pitch shift them down myself and hear the C7 better, and that's when I pitch shift them down that it sounds off. When sliding my cursor slowly to hear the tone, it's also the same as her other clean whistles in that region. Also, I noticed she always does her high harmonies herself (as in, no pitch shifting), so I don't see why this one would be pitch shifted when she could've chosen to just not do it or pick a lower harmony like F6 (which she occasionally does live) or G♯6. I'm confident it's legit
