{Vocal Summary}As the Jim Morrison-doppelgänger frontman of California Blues-Rockers, Rival Sons, Jay Buchanan posesses a pretty incredible belting ability, with the majority of songs in Rival Sons' discography containing passages around the upper-fourth/lower-fifth octave with such grit and power that you'd be forgiven for thinking they were lower pitches than they are. If Josh Kizka sounds like LZIII-era Robert Plant, Jay Buchanan is LZI-II, pulling chest to D5 on multiple occasions, and occasionally further. He also posesses a capable falsetto, which like his lower register is sadly underused. Whilst live he can be inconsistent (especially on lighter numbers), likely due to the hectic touring schedule the band follows, the band records live in the studio, doing only a few takes, so what you hear on the group's LPs is what he is capable of when well-rested.

Good start! You might want to actually list his vocal range, though ;)

If his low notes are really that infrequently used you could expand them up to G3 I think. Also, I'd recommend you use normal quotation marks (" ") instead of smart quotes which you seem to be using.

I love how I completely forgot one of the critical parts of the thread ahaha!

I believe the weird quotes are from me starting the thread in Docs and pasting over, annoyingly means I'll have to go one by one through, oh well!

Once I finish the rest of the discography I'll see if it fills out a bit lower (which I believe it does, iirc) but if it's still just a barren wasteland in his low notes I'll definitely expand it.

Turns out he just barely sings below a G3 - loads of mid-range notes, though!

Once I've sorted the summary, he's all ready to go!

Thread's looking pretty good. I'd unbold the C#3-G#5 after 'Vocal Range' though. I'm also not 100% sure if it's officially required for threads to be moved to Range Stuff, but it's always good to link the highest and lowest notes too. Good work all the same, seems like an interesting vocalist.

Just discovered this live performance of 'Get What's Coming', where he sings a Bb2 and Eb2. By my reckoning the Bb2 is easily countable, but the Eb2 is a little farty, so wondered what others think as for counting it?
