A place to celebrate great album art and gawk at bizarre artistic decisions. Iron Maiden's Dance of Death has got to be the most obvious answer. {Iron Maiden's Dance of Death}

I thought that was a person wearing an Aretha Franklin mask.

From my personal collection: {These two are actually quite pretty} [/] This one, not so much. {Tony Bennett's face in psychedelic colours} {Judith Durham sets a bad example to cyclists everywhere} {...and looks like she hates her dress} Not long before non-essential businesses closed here in Scotland, I finally found my own copy of this one in the wild (I know I could have bought it online, but that's not as satisfying). {Whipped Cream & Other Delights}

{Some album covers I really like} Cássia Eller - Com você... Meu mundo ficaria completo (1999) I don't know, this just slaps. Hako Yamasaki - Genso Ryoko (1981) I like the feeling these rail tracks give me accompanied by the lone wanderer, Hako herself. Mai Yamane - Flying Elephants (1985) The best. Everything about it looks gorgeous, including Mai herself of course. Minako Yoshida - Gazer (1990) Most of Minako's covers are great, but this one is especially haunting to me, there's something very mysterious about it, melancholic, almost creepy but in a way that draws me to it. Bee Gees - Trafalgar (1971) Why the japanese cover? Idk, it slaps. Frank Sinatra - Where Are You (1957) Emo Sinatra hours Surf's Up (1971) Hmm aboard a tidal wave.. Clairo - Sling (2021) Joni Mitchell - Both Sides Now (2000) I love Joni's paintings. Laura Nyro - Angel In The Dark (1994) no elaboration needed, my beloved laura..

It's a shame, because Eddie as the spectre of death himself is an awesome idea (I'm surprised it took them until 2003 to get around to Grim Reaper Eddie). Hopefully, it will get a re-release with a better cover someday.

I don't want to post it here for fear of harming people, but how are we forgetting the absolute peach of an album cover that is Two Virgins by John Lennon and Yoko Ono?
