This is falsetokaiba v 'S in Round Four of the Clip-Off. You have five days to submit your clips, and until 23:00 GMT Time Thursday, July 9 to vote. July 10 is the Results Day. For this round, you have to use all your singers! The categories for Round Four are: 1. Best High Singing: A performance that places particular importance on singing high notes. Relative to the singer. The clip doesn't have to be exclusively high singing but the more high notes are utilised and the higher they are (relative to the singer), the more appropriate it is for the category. 2. Best Low Singing: A performance that places particular importance on singing low notes. Relative to the singer. The clip doesn't have to be exclusively low singing but the more low notes are utilised and the lower they are (relative to the singer), the more appropriate it is for the category. 3. Best Usage of Mid-Range: Singing that's made interesting despite (or perhaps because of) not placing particular importance on either high or low notes. There are no concrete thresholds to mid-range, but your best bet is to try and gauge whether the singing sounds mid-rangy. The pair are free to post their clips, voting commences as soon as they have. Vote here. Current Vote Count: 5

{Best High Singing: Sebastian Bach} Classic Sebastian Bach, switching exuberantly between cleaner and more distorted approaches in his highs, before climaxing on a crazy sustained note that goes all the way up to an F#5. Clip spans 3:20-4:45.
{Best Low Singing: Ivan Rebroff} I know there must be better Rebroff lows clips out there, but I just haven't explored his discography all that much yet, so here he is staying in the lower second octave with his usual booming tone for a prolonged period, bottoming at an effortless Eb2 at the end. Clip spans 1:58-2:58.
{Best Use of Mid-Range: Tarja Turunen} I may regret not using Tarja for highs, but I really enjoy her use of her mid-range around the time of Century Child, so here's a nice delicate clip spanning from A3-B4. Clip spans 0:26-1:32.

{Best High Singing: Celine Dion} 1:43-2:32. Brasher belty start, then agile delicate head voice perfection. {Best Low Singing: Kim Yon-ja}0:29–0:59 & 1:51–2:22. From what I've found for KYJ some of her best low singing, as colourful as ever. {Best Usage of Mid-Range: Moya Brennan}2:28–3:49. G3–G4. Thought the heavier tone and subtle melisma here work especially well.
