Out of all of the Donkey Kong Country games on the SNES, the second one (Diddy's Kong Quest) had my all-time favorite music. This theme is probably my favorite from the whole game.

The old Tekken soundtracks still take me back. 2 & 3 especially I feel like most of the tunes were distinct and memorable.

Been jamming the No Straight Roads soundtrack for a while, game is full of wall-to-wall bops. Also this particular song is used as the boss theme when you fight a giant mermaid Vtuber idol, so that's something.

Tim Follin is such a great composer, and his work defined a lot of 8 bit and 16 bit games back in the day. Here are some examples. {Tim Follin} The entire Plok sountrack. Is amazing what can be done with a SNES, and this track (Akrillic) just blew my mind. Also, that is my favourite video game. youtu.be/_q3m-k01EUYThe Sega Genesis port of Time Trax was never oficially released, but at least a demo is avaliable, and man, the music is godlike. youtu.be/MozqL_HkHF4Tim, that was just pictionary! youtu.be/DzTDAgG4EXkAnother classic here, in this case, Silver Surfer for the NES. youtu.be/ZQlLl2j5THQShifting gears here, now with a Commodore 64 one. youtu.be/wz36JWHTk-AJeroen Tel is another great example of a remarcable video game music composer.

I really like almost all of the music from Super Mario Odyssey. If you haven't listened to the OST I would recommend it. If I had to pick a favourite it would definitely be 'Jump Up, Super Star!'

From an all-too-often slept-on gem of the early PS2 era - "Dark Cloud". This might be the first piece of music I found moving.

Let me just start by mentioning the greatest video game OST of all time: You mean Super Mario Galaxy, right?

Got to shout out this classic from my childhood. It should have received a lot more praise for its OST than it did. There aren't a lot of songs in it, but the atmosphere they create is impeccable.
