In my opinion, Sinatra is stretching a bit for the G4 in "Fly me to the moon" from 1965. Towards the end of his life he allegedly had to stretch for F4s. According to his thread he usually kept within G2-F4, which was about right for him.

Frank Sr. definitely had his moments, but I think Frank Jr. was all-around a better singer.

Frank Jr. has a very nice voice in his own right. But I feel like if you compare any two skilled singers, you'll find certain things they do better than each other. Frank Sr. is rightly regarded as a contender for having the best vocal delivery in popular music. Whilst his highs had a fairly low ceiling, he was completely able to work around that. I can't think of a Sinatra track that I've heard where his limited upper reaches prevented his other attributes from shining through.

The list is useful when you want to look up the range of a song sung by that particular singer, I've done that several times.

I mean, simply listing in which songs what notes are hit isn't done particularly for the purpose of keeping users from inquiring about anything. It's done for the sake of being comprehensive, which is kind of a must for the Range Stuff category.

I just thought it was funny compared to other threads which are more parsimonious. I think the current OP is a solid representation of Sinatra's approach. He had his money notes like any singer. And there are bigger sections on this site - Bing Crosby has 679 C4s!
