Not sure if I’ve asked this before, but why haven’t we bolded the “In Time” C5 at the end where he screams “pain”. I think that’s probably his best sustain in Grey Daze.

The note is very good, he kind of falls into a B4 while sustaining it though. Personally I hear it as between C5 and B4. So he's either a bit flat or a bit sharp. But I still think it's worth bolding. G5 in White Wedding hereE5 in Good Times Bad Times herePossibly bold Eb5 in Faint hereCasual Eb5 in this warmup Another bold D5 in Faint hereBelted C#5 in Paradise City here, could be bolded Another belted Paradise City note here, this time C5. Also found C#6 and G#6 here and here for the questionable notes section. Lastly, have we thought about bolds on either of these? Inside of Me and The Little Things Give You Away. I feel like that B4 is one of his best live ones and that A4 is amazing.

G5 in White Wedding here - That's an A4, possibly a B♭, most defintely not a G5.E5 in Good Times Bad Times here - Gotta think about that. lolPossibly bold Eb5 in Faint here - I know this note very well, however, I don't think I have ever noticed he slides up to an E♭, might be fooled by overtones though, any second opinions?Casual Eb5 in this warmup - Higher note from the same clip already included.Another bold D5 in Faint here - I know this note very well too, however, I don't think I have ever noticed there might be something higher than a C♯, might be fooled by overtones though, any second opinions?Belted C#5 in Paradise City here, could be bolded - Better notes from the same song already in the thread.Another belted Paradise City note here, this time C5. - Better notes from the same song already in the thread. Also found C#6 and G#6 here and here for the questionable notes section. - Already got some weird whistle stuff from my Own Summer in the spoiler box. Lastly, have we thought about bolds on either of these? Inside of Me and The Little Things Give You Away. I feel like that B4 is one of his best live ones and that A4 is amazing. - That is a very good B indeed, gotta think about it, and for The Little Things Give You Away's A4, I mean, I think you got it lol

Still think it could use a bold lol. Is that White Wedding scream really A4? I keep hearing at least F5, especially when I slow it down. The rest of it I agree with totally though! Just a suggestion on the bolds in this thread. I noticed some controversy over the bold on the "God's Afraid" C#5. I'd say if you have it bolded for his age and control then you may as well swap that bold for the C#5's in "Polly". He's even younger in that one and he's up there for longer without any real difficulty. Other suggestion is you add this passage as bold from this live performance of "Breaking the Habit". HereIt's a bit more sustained than usual cuz the tempo is slower and the grit is insane.

Not to post too much on this thread, but I found a potential range expansion here: youtu.be/7Sn1R9SQuzk?t=110. Is that F2? He repeats it a few times too and I keep hearing it as F2. I'd include it in the thread simply because they're pretty solid lows for him. Also, G5 here? youtu.be/0F46ISzEIUU?t=54. Not exactly melodic but may be worthy of inclusion.

Oh yeah I'm well aware of that live, really good clean note with a nice amount of sustain, I remember including the C from the Download performance 'cause I also wanted to keep the Csharp from the studio version, but yeah, I could swap the bolds, or keep 'em both lol --------------------------------------- Oh jeeeee I've never heard that particular clip from Faint, some amazing stuff, I'm quite confident after that Eflat scream he belts up to an E, not sure how would I make this fit into the thread having already the RaR2007 performance which is just a classic. Definitely worth mentioning tho, nice find! Not to post too much on this thread, but I found a potential range expansion here: youtu.be/7Sn1R9SQuzk?t=110. Is that F2? Both notes are bit low quality here imo, however, first clip from APFMH is also a bit tricky 'cause of that damn sample playing an Eflat lol in other words, not sure about the note being an F and I suspect it might also be on the 3rd octave.

The C# is awesome, but I do think you’re right in that keeping the original C#5 is also good. I’d vote for bolding both, or maybe you could do something along the lines of including both notes separated by a slash or something. Haha, your call, I’m good with whatever you decide. And yeah, that E is pretty awesome. I really love his belts man; I’ve discussed it with a few people here and I’m not sure your thoughts, but I’ve always felt like his belts are awesome cuz they’re pure chest yells basically. Just sounds pretty cool to my ear. You’re right though, hard to say it’s worth getting rid of the other E at Rock am Ring. Again, I’m good with whatever you decide. As for the F, who knows haha. So many weird overtones and interruptions on that note.

I would spoiler it. Definitely should not be a countable part of his range.

What’s our thought on the C5 from the new “Saturation” Grey Daze released? I know it’s the same note but I think they extended it and made a few changes to its presentation. Could maybe use a bold. I know it’s the same note so I’m good with not changing it too but I just had to ask.

about questionable notes : A6 ("A Place for My Head" live in Texas 2003 [5]) – it's a whistle fry, a nice, puposefully quiet one. and it's not an A6, it's an A5 with overtones ^.^ B6 ("Pushing Me Away" live Rock am Ring 2001 [5]) – the song is actually Pictureboard. for the note, it's also whistle fry with overtones, so B5 E♭6 ("My Own Summer(Shove It)" taken from Underground V.8 [5]) – same again : whistle fry, actually an E♭5, overtones. btw this isn't from Underground V.8 : it rather sounds like a bootleg, audience recording
Edit : Okay my bad, these weren't whistle fry screams lol. I tried to "educate" myself more with how whistles sound and I'm progressing on recognising them, but yeah sorry for the wrong stuff in my comment lol

What do you guys think about this G♯5? linkI believe this: link - is a G♯2, not too sure tho, sounds a bit weird and fry-ish. Same song, different mix: link, those backing vocals kinda sound like they get down to a B♭2 (possibly even a G♯), however there's this unnatural quality to it that makes me a bit suspicious.
