Hello, I just started training my voice as a male singer for song covers I'd like to do. I was wondering if there was anything you would recommend I do before going full out into songs and some specific daily training?

I was wondering if there was anything you would recommend I do before going full out into songs and some specific daily training? I'll echo this. Since I need some advices, too. I wanted to sign up for some lessons. But Covid-19 ruined my plans lol. Do you cease to exist the moment you walk out on the street over there? The floor is not lava just because we're thrown into this pandemic mate. My country's in ass regarding amount of cases but if I wanna do it, I'm doing it. I just signed up and what I got from it is breath support and your 'get off' point are the most important things. Given you already have some sort of hearing and can intonate on a basic level at least. And regardless, buffing your lung capacity is the thing to do. Take the biggest gasp of air for a moment, then let it out but keep the body tension on forward. Do it until it becomes a habit and eventually your regular form, this alone will be the 3/4 of your training. The right position and tension at the chosen spot of your body paves the way to nicely sounding vocals. The goal is to put the tenseion on one certain organ, not the entire body. Push the belly button sir, but keep the rest of the body nice and relax.

But the music school was closed for 3 months. That was the problem.
