There's actually a fairly solid spoken F♯2 in the 2008 version of "Lost Reflection" that I think oughta be counted:

There are also some E♭3s starting at 2:11 if you wanna beef up the lows section a little more. For that matter, what are people's thoughts on the E♭2 at 0:32 currently in the questionable notes section? I can understand it possibly being a bit too squashed to be worth counting, but there's an E2 at 0:35 that sounds a bit more pronounced to me. Any thoughts?

Glad to see Midnight's thread back! In having made multiple threads for USPM singers I love how he is both possibly the highest placed of all of them yet also has better 2nd octave notes than a lot of them tbh. Dat G#2 in In the Mood is pretty noice for instance whereas guys like Carl Albert, John Arch, James Rivera, and Harry Conklin were generally bottoming out in the 3rd octave.

Fair assessment! I've been kinda unsure of how to count that E♭2 for a bit now, because while he technically does pronounce it on a word ("been HERE so many years"), it's just SO squashed, and kinda...doesn't really sound like an E♭2 in a lot of ways (though I can't seem to pitch it as anything else either lol). But yeah, I'd be okay with keeping that in the spoiler if we counted the E2 instead, cause that one's quite a bit more distinctly audible, even if it also suffers from a similarly squashed tone.

I reckon the F♯2 that I timestamped is worth counting as well, though it's a spoken note.

The "Eb2" sounds like an F#2 to me though it is indeed very squashed and aimless sounding pitch wise. Not sure where the spoken note you're referencing is (because I didn't listen to the full track, though I assume it's in the "no one there" section from the original), your link takes me to the 0:32 note.

Huh, that's weird. The note I was trying to link to was at 3:58 - on "who's THERE?". The "no one there" part that you were referring to is at 4:07, and gets down to G♯2.

Listening back to the alleged E♭2, I'm also now starting to question whether it gets that low myself, and if I may have just been hearing illusions down to that pitch. Either way, as long as we agree to count the E2 I'm good with not counting it. :handshake:
