Yes, but why two passagis if there is no mix zone ? This isn't just your opinion against mine, it's quite obviously resources that you've read against resources that I've read. There's a lot of confusion around terminology out there. I'm not trying to impose my version as some sort of dogma, rather I'm asking questions in order to understand what people are actually saying.

Yeah, the terminology is unfortunately quite inconsistent on this. Anything that deviates from there being just two registers, modal and falsetto, is unfortunately misinformed. So much stuff online talks about mixed as if it is its own register which is obviously not true. Even head voice, as you described, is just lightened modal voice. The designation of the two passagi is likely somewhat arbitrary; it could easily be one, or perhaps none for trained singers. As long as you understand the general idea though, it should be fine.

Terminology isn't particularly inconsistent. There's just a few different systems that use terms in their own way. True vocal pedagogy articles usually state which system they are using before even talking about passaggi. If we went by Miller's definition, then there'd be 2 passaggi points in full voice (M1). He does not talk much of passaggi in M2, as it was not particularly well-researched at the time but current research points to there being 4 passaggi in it, not 2. And then there is one whistle passaggio. And I suppose passaggio in strohbass counts too. Which would in theory mean there's 8 different passaggi in the voice.

As for Dionne. I don't know why this discussion is happening in this thread. I simply just posted two clips that should be added to the thread. I think it was pretty obvious what I meant in my initial message too lol.

Also Dionne sang some notes above D6 in her appearance on I believe the Carol Burnett Show. I'll look into it.
