(This is my first thread; it's also incomplete as of now, sorry! She has a pretty expansive discography, so it'll take me a while to get through everything and type in all the notes, but I think that I've found her highest falsetto, highest chest/mix, and lowest note, so that should be accurate for now)

I'm a little bit unsure about the E3 in Utena. Could anyone check it for me?

I'm hearing it bottom out at F♯3 personally Also, welcome to TRP Thank you for the warm welcome! You're right, I do think that this background vocal on Utena only notably hits an F#3. I was thinking that the run she was singing was dipping down to an E4 and so there would be an E3 in the octave unison, but with the way she sings it, if she even does hit that note at all, it's very brief. I'll change it to an F#3 instead, and also possibly unbold it. The Pink Stick Luv lows are probably a better choice for a bolded F#3.

However, it might be a good idea to use a thread template to start out with (I can send you a really good one in DMs if you want). Otherwise, I wish you the best of luck here on TRP. Thank you for the warm welcome, and wow, thank you for sorting through my whole thread! So the tracks were meant to be alphabetized... I was roughly sorting them in order of their release (covers, then first album, then second album, etc.), but that makes a lot more sense. Oops! I'll go in and shuffle everything around when I can. I also noticed that I should put quotes around each song title, as well as put parentheses around the list of examples. I did think that it was weird to have the bolded titles right next to the bolded notes, but I didn't notice what was different. I agree that there isn't really a proper E3 in Utena, so I'll be changing that to an unbolded F#3. As for Mono Poisoner, I'm pretty sure she does hit a short F#3, although the impressive part about that is the fact that she sings all those G#3s in a row, so I might change that to G#3 as well. You also changed the F5 from SAIREN to an E5; I'll check if that was an error on my part. I think you might be right. Not sure why you removed the Summer Horror Party D#6 and C#6 and gave the bold to the F#5 instead. For a second I was confused and thought, "Wait, was that high note just an F#5? Did I completely mis-hear that?" Maybe you didn't listen to the end of that clip? "Give me a break Stop now" is the actual official capitalization of that title as given in English, "Bunmei EP" is the title of the EP, and it looks like you accidentally removed Endless EP. I definitely agree that I've overused bolds. I was never really conscious of how much she sang well into the mid-upper fifth octave, so I was bolding almost every example I found, oops. I'll unbold a few, probably including the YoiYoi Yokon G#5 (it's the climax of the song and the highest belt on the album, but it does feel a little pushed). The numerous B5s on Lost One's Weeping are definitely worthy of a bold, though. I'll finalize my bolds more when I've gone through more of her discography. Anyways, thank you so much for the help on this thread and the formatting advice! I'll keep working on it, and in the future, I'll try to start off with a more structured, standardized format.

Thank you! Just to address some of your questions.
-I bolded the Sairen E5 over the F5 because despite the passage topping at F5, the E5 was much more sustained. -The Summer Horror Party E♭6 and C♯6 are overtones (The bane of TRP's existence). Overtones essentially give the illusion of notes being higher than they actually are, usually in the form of the note sounding one octave higher than it is (although this isn't always the case). This is usually caused by bad recording equipment or a high amount of studio processing, in this case it is very much the latter. So basically the highest the passage gets is F♯5 in falsetto and E♭5 in chest. -As for the B5s, can you send me a link to them. They weren't linked in the thread.
I hope this answers your questions.

Hi! I see what you did with the Sairen F5 and agree that it makes more sense to bold the E5 since that's the note that she held. I understand now. As for the Summer Horror Party notes, I think that I will still include them for the time being, or maybe at least put a footnote saying that their legitimacy is disputed. I've added in a link for the B5s now. She sings many phrased B5s several times throughout the song, so I initially didn't think to link it because there was no particular section to link. By the way, could I ask for some advice on a note? There's a backing vocal that seems to hit a rather high note on this song: youtu.be/JES55S-l5RM?t=177This line occurs in previous choruses where the main vocal hits a C#5, I believe, so at first, I thought she hit a C#6 in octave unison (which I wouldn't put past her based on Lost One's Weeping), but it's likely she's doing some sort of harmony instead. What do you think it is? (Sorry for the slightly questionable music video, by the way.)

I went in and did all the alphabetizing and have added numerous notes since then, RIP. I'm going to continue with my current thread formatting, though, because I think it's reasonably readable and organized now. There are some other singers I'd like to do smaller notewatches for, in which cases I'll try to start off with a more standardized layout. Sorry if I'm causing any issues! By the way, if you didn't like the D#6 overtone in Summer Horror Party, you're going to have a great time with the B6 I found LOL

Fwiw this is an F#5 the C6 is a C5 even tho i could see why you would think its C6 the autotune makes it sound weirdThe first note is an F#5, and then she sings D#6 and C#6 after (C#, not C, I'm pretty sure). Someone else also told me that these notes are an overtone and are actually an octave down, but in musical context, it seems like it's very intentionally meant to be perceived as higher than the notes before. If it is an overtone, she intentionally performed it in that way, so that's my logic behind keeping the Summer Horror Party notes. She has a C#6 falsetto in another song and also reaches up to A6 in Phanto(me) which she has performed live, so her range won't really change. I will definitely add a footnote saying that they are disputed, though, since two people have pointed this out now. As for the ECHO B6, that one definitely is suspicious even to me; the harmonics sound really strange. EDIT: I've added a disclaimer now :)

Two albums left to notewatch and that should be the majority of her discography!

After a formatting nightmare or two, I've notewatched the entirety of Reol's discography (except for a handful of very obscure old covers that were not worth hunting down), and also translated the thread into Japanese (which meant I had to rewrite all of the song titles to their Japanese equivalents... PAIN). I think this means I'm basically done with the thread.

Just notewatched Reol's new song "White Midnight" and it's insane...
Really chesty belting at c#5 which I already thought was boldable, and full lows at f#3 that were boldable, too, but then there's a key change up, but then there's another key change up, so she's belting eb5s, then f5s, and the short falsetto flips from the chorus end up being raised up to g#5, and then she starts ad-libbing and hits another g#5 but in black... HUH???
I was shocked as I listened to this song, it's probably her best vocal performance ever
There's also a fryishly spoken line that might be worth entering as an italic note, around the E3-D3 area, but I'm not sure about it
Anyways, I'll enter all these notes into thread when I can - I'm just not even sure how to go about what to bold!

I just realized that I've never notewatched the song "Gigantic P.N.S.", or its special album version. Do I really have to? Do I really have to put that on the thread?

I just realized that I've never notewatched the song "Gigantic P.N.S.", or its special album version. Do I really have to? Do I really have to put that on the thread? There is an octave-unison black C#6. And then a D6 at the key change. Really? Why? Why did it have to be this song? Losing my mind

Added some backing notes, and also updated her lowest note to C3 in Tokio Funka! (I only listed the Eb3 before, woops... I'll link it later.)
I'm still not giving her the C#3 from un, deux, trois for now because it's hit so quietly, but I might put it in underlined because there's also a C#3 in unison at the chorus? In general, there are a lot of unison lows I've kind of missed out on that I'll be adding soon.
Also, I added the E5 falsetto from that song that immediately got deleted, just for the lolz
Excited for her mini-album drop soon, which I of course will notewatch! Imagine if she hits a whistle note or something and expands to 4 octaves... we're just one note off right now!

You might wanna include her Eb3 from White Midnight.

You might wanna include her Eb3 from White Midnight. Hi! Thanks for the tip. I was under the impression that White Midnight bottoms out at F#3, is there an Eb3 elsewhere or in the harmonies? I have the studio acapella and can check. Let me know where you think it is. If you're talking about her fryish "where to go?" line, I didn't know whether to include it at the time, but maybe it could be a cool addition, since the Tokio Funka lows appear to be slightly fry-mixed (especially the C3). I might run the acapella through my tuning software and see what note it's giving there. Speaking of fryish notes, the WHOLEEEEE Ms. Control second verse is REALLY trying to be low, and there actually were good F3s I could've bolded, but she kept trying to fry her way down around D3... it was weird Anyways, thanks again for reaching out, so cool to have another Reol fan here! Hopefully one day we get a range expansion and get her up to a full 4 octaves... I KNOW she can...

There are several Eb3s in White Midnight. In the first pre chorus it’s harmonized. Just before that you can hear it clearly in her melodic rap.
