Good thread! Used to really like a couple of this guy's songs, glad someone took up the task of notewatching him. Here's a couple notes on the thread!
You probably don't need "Vocal Range" nor "WIP" in the title; it's already on a notewatching forum and under the WIP section, so lol
This site uses certain conventions for note names. Specifically, D#s are E♭s and A#s are B♭s. I used all sharps for consistency on my first thread too, but I decided to go back in and change them after it being pointed out + me noticing that basically all threads used those conventions.
Those couple green notes aren't really that terribly distorted; I think most threads would just leave those in as black. I know you changed your key to say "notes with a significant amount of distortion", but it's typically reserved for fairly out-there screams, not just some subtle grit.
Also, you should probably link the bolded notes. Usually, when I see a thread, the first thing I'd always want to do is to click the bolded notes to see their best vocal moments in each given range area. You linked a bunch of other notes, but none of the bolded ones for some reason lol
Good luck with your notewatching! I think he has a relatively large discography (?), so it'll probably take a while. I might go in and find a couple notes to help you out :)

Lost: Lots of nice falsetto G#4s, and a chest G4 here. youtu.be/ZMCP4xIsmAw?t=176It also sounds like he has some second-octave backing vocals at each chorus that are doing either an octave unison or a harmony? youtu.be/ZMCP4xIsmAw?t=161My guess is G#2 for those

Good thread! Used to really like a couple of this guy's songs, glad someone took up the task of notewatching him. Here's a couple notes on the thread! wow thank you I started listening to it recently, there are a lot of songs that I haven't listened to yet. I decided to create this thread with the main notes even because I haven't seen any similar content on the internet. I plan to post updates from time to time, as there is little content about it, I have to listen to his vocal performances and identify the notes myself. This site uses certain conventions for note names. Specifically, D#s are E♭s and A#s are B♭s. I used all sharps for consistency on my first thread too, but I decided to go back in and change them after it being pointed out + me noticing that basically all threads used those conventions. Alright! I will definitely check it out later, thanks for the touch. Good luck with your notewatching! I think he has a relatively large discography (?), so it'll probably take a while. I might go in and find a couple notes to help you out :) Oh thank you Those couple green notes aren't really that terribly distorted; I think most threads would just leave those in as black. I know you changed your key to say "notes with a significant amount of distortion", but it's typically reserved for fairly out-there screams, not just some subtle grit. Yeah... I'll check that out later too. You probably don't need "Vocal Range" nor "WIP" in the title; it's already on a notewatching forum and under the WIP section, so lol I ended up putting this "WIP" because not only am I new to the forum, but I'm also new to forums in general lol, I don't know 100% how things work.

Here I go again, reformatted and fixed some issue for ya. {Fresh Thread With a Side of Fries} Jonathon Ng (23 December 1995 - Present) Vocal Range: F2 - G♯5{Vocal Summary}Jonathon Ng, known professionally as Eden (stylised as EDEN), is an Irish singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, record producer, and occasional model. [1] marks yelps and short trills in high range or anacrusis and short dips in low range. [2] marks notes of questionable identity that cannot be confirmed to be the singer in question. [3] marks non-melodic notes that don't have a significant enough pitch to warrant inclusion. [4] marks notes that possess uncertain pitch or have been pitch-shifted. [5] marks notes that do not fit the previous criteria but are not of a substantial enough quality to warrant counting towards the singer's range. ....................................................... Blue marks falsetto or whistle notes. Underlines mark notes that are obscured in the song mix. Italics mark non-melodic notes. Boldface marks notes that are considered to be particularly notable examples of this person's vocal capabilities.First of all, the pitching was pretty good all things considered. So good job on that front. However, some of the objective issues I found mainly included alphabetization issues. The rest of the stuff I changed was aesthetic stuff to make the thread more pleasing to look at. I also shifted around the bolds to what I would consider boldworthy for him. Granted, this part is totally arbitrary so feel free to change it at your leisure. But yeah, decent first effort, curious on how it will turn out. Yeet.

Hey, just wanted to get back to you since you posted this thread in Ready to Review recently. There are a couple formatting issues and the like that are keeping this from being moved over right now, many of which SailorBlue touched on. I'd check his reformatting of your thread to get an idea of what it should look like, but here are a couple things to keep in mind: 1. When listing the overall vocal range at the top, we don't separate the highest "black" note and the highest overall note. So effectively, your vocal range listing should just read as E♭2 - G♯5. 2. What you'll want to do to get the right shade of blue for your falsetto notes, as opposed to just picking a color out, is using this code on each falsetto note: In practice, it should look something like this: "Closer 2" 3. You're going to want to alphabetize your song titles. That way it's easier for those interested in a given song to find the notes that he hit in it. Songs that start with numbers, special symbols, or punctuation (i.e. "????") will always be the first alphabetically. 4. This part isn't necessarily a rule, but if you're going to denote that the highest note in an album range is falsetto, it'd also make sense to denote the highest "black" note hit in that album. It runs a bit contrary to the first point I made, but album ranges are used to chronicle how a singer's voice/range changed over time so I'm sure people would appreciate the clarification. Anyhow, that's it from me. Happy notewatching!
