I just said that because he hit the note more He obviously hits D4 more often than A4, irrespective of the number of entries found in the post. But the C5 is his signature note.

Yes. This is honestly the most pointless “debate” I have ever witnessed on any forum.

This was a dumb argument
Can I get a link to the backing E♭5 off the new album?
On the first "yeah", in the backing vocals

It is kind of in between the two notes. Anyone else think it sounds like an F5 or rather an E5?

I am definitely hearing E5 on that note, doesn't really sound like an in-between note to me

Getchu some live notes in this thread :playball: Solid A2s and G2s in the outro of this performance of "45" Pretty impressive run down to A2 in this performance of "Simple Man", as well as a C3 at 2:41. Really great performance overall; I believe it's from Shinedown's Live from the Inside DVD, recorded in 2004. This version of "Call Me" is played a whole step(-ish) lower, so all the C♯3s become B2s. A D3 followed by a shouted C5 in this Foo Fighters cover, then a bunch of G4s and an A4 at 3:03. This is another one from their Somewhere in the Stratosphere live album, though I couldn't find a video upload unfortunately. They have a guest vocalist on this one who sings most of it from the second verse onward, so I'm doing my best to pick his voice apart from Brent's without being able to see who's singing. Anyway, from what I can tell, Brent gets a bunch of B4s at the timestamp I linked, G4s at 0:46, a C♯5 at 1:26, and a C5 at 3:44. Anyway, I'd recommend checking their live DVDs and EPs in full for good measure in case other goodies like these pop up on them. In particular I'd say definitely check the 2014 Acoustic Sessions EPs, cause those are literally nothing but live acoustic covers. I found the OG clip for that "Call Me" acoustic performance, your link was indeed pitch-shifted a semitone lower for whatever reason... He's singing this one with a little more pronounced, deepened tone so I think the pitch-shifting made the effect sound extra-deep. Either way, C3s!

Some lows here, slides down to Eb2s at one point.
Edit: was already in his thread but good to have here nonetheless, fascinating for any singer to hear his warm-up process.
