This bit from the end of Pink Floyd's "Marooned", playing around with the octave pedal. David Gilmour's best guitar work ever on this track imo.

Even by John Williams' extremely high standards, this is just one of the best motifs in all of music.

I've got a few more moments that I reckon no one would share but me: Best and most mesmerizing bass solo in the history of humanity (that doesn't sound like a bass at all)
As soon as the Selfless riff plays you can consider my world officially rocked
This fucking guitar solo is the reason I still listen to rock music to this day. Child me wasn't meant to hear something this pornographically hot
Goddamn, that is epic and tragic sounding
This entire song
Nice one Jason Derulo

I really like the spanish guitar on Innuendo. Howe did a magnificent work there! youtu.be/g2N0TkfrQhYClose to the edge is pretty astonishing (musically speaking), but, the ambience between the second chorus and the "in her white lace", among the pipe organ solo in the last part of "I get up, I get down" are god-tier stuff (at least for me) youtu.be/GGaai0AII3EThis one no needs explanation, could it? I mean, man, is the intro of Aquatic Ambience youtu.be/wAPpVplHiDE

2:09. The greatest sequence of notes played on guitar ever and I wholeheartedly and genuinely mean that

I could listen to the vocal harmony here over and over and never grow tired of it. I don't know what makes it so special, but it is.:

let me drop some bad bois I remember just being absolutely dumbfounded at this intro when I first laid my ears on it, it's a fantastic piece of music. Junko's vocals later on are also very pleasant.
All of it, tbh. Makes me think of some bittersweet memories, I have cried copiously to this song and I'm not a person who cries easily.
The guitar solo of the studio version. I was obsessed with Oasis growing up so don't judge me too much on this one, there are just so many layers of guitars and stuff, it sounds epic and trippy af.
Such a nice key change in the choruses, Mac does that a lot and I love every second of it.
Honestly, just the intro is enough for me. Michelle Phillips had an incredibly pretty voice and it saddens me that she had only one solo album, I could listen to her all day.
The entire song, I didn't even know the Bee Gees were capable of making a song that appeals to me in such a deep level, it's haunting.

No judgment on "Champagne Supernova", it's a great song. This Old Dog might be Mac's best album, it's really tough to choose because they're all so consistently strong without really breaking away from one another.
What about "Charade" appeals to you? Don't get me wrong, I think it's among their most underrated songs, but it's always interesting to hear what exactly it is that draws someone to a song.

Don't get me wrong, I think it's among their most underrated songs, but it's always interesting to hear what exactly it is that draws someone to a song. I think my favorite Mac album is Another One, it feels like the definitive evolution of his style as a songwriter, Salad Days was great but it was more fun and unambitious in my view, whereas Another One is such a big step up from that, it's more developed, serious and, imo, a masterpiece. It influenced me a ton as a songwriter as well, I'd analyze the chord progressions and whatnot, try to emulate the tone of his semi acoustic on my own guitar, it was fun times. I don't know what draws me to "Charade" exactly, I feel like it's a thing from the heart, but if I had to try and describe what it is, I'd say there's just a overarching feeling of nostalgia and sweetness to the song, like a childhood memory, the intro already sets the tone I think, but it's like it keeps escalating and getting better, especially in Robin's parts, it's just a really damn good, emotional song that more people should know of, I think.

Another One is great also, same with Salad Days. Have you heard Rock and Roll Night Club? It isn't one of my favorites, but it's a great snapshot of his work before he broke into the indie mainstream.

Though it's a bit long for a musical "moment", as far as i'm concerned, here through 18:43 is the greatest instrumental passage in any Pink Floyd song:
For more of a musical "moment", even after listening to this song for like 7-8 years this part STILL gives me chills:
