I find this to be quite therapeutic. Pick an artist you dislike, and listen to more of their catalogue really closely. This might sound a little bit like masochism at this point, but stick with it. So far, I always manage to pick out at least one highlight, or at least a redeeming quality in there, and feel a bit better for it.
On closer inspection, the pre-chocolate starfish stuff from Limp Bizkit actually has a fair amount of material that's decent. My theory is that they later focused on the gimmicks and novelty value, making Fred the focal point once they started to become successful. But the outro of "Re-Arranged" has some pretty great production choices and sound manipulation. It doesn't offset the crimes against music, such as Rollin', that would follow, but early LB were actually kinda alright.

You know, I don't think Nickelback is as bad as everybody says they are. I think they would receive a little less hate from everyone if they wrote more songs like the one I linked above. Plus, it also has a cool solo from the late great Dimebag Darrell (RIP)

As much as I despise Zayn and abusers like him, I must admit wRoNg is a vibe and a half.
I also loathe Jessie Reyez’s technique, Shutter Island, Gatekeeper, and Body Count are great tracks.

As much as I despise Zayn and abusers like him, I must admit wRoNg is a vibe and a half. To be fair, I don't think the thread is necessarily about artists you dislike because they're garbage people... well, to avoid unnecessary argument, I'll say disliking them for personal reasons, which is true, but the point is that I feel like that kind of would defeat the purpose of it all being therapeutic and whatnot. Because I could easily start pointing to artists that did terrible things or that I just don't like as people but still have made good music: Chris Brown, Chuck Berry, John Lennon, Lindsey Buckingham, Rick James... But that would be exhausting and people would probably start fighting over what they personally believe about these people and things they may or may not have done. So I'll just say that I hate the RHCP but I can enjoy a lot of their tracks in instrumental form.

I don't like Poison, but this song has always been a jam.

I don't like Poison, but this song has always been a jam. Unavailable in my country Which song was it? I'd put myself in the category of not a fan of Poison, but there were a few good songs, particularly on "Native Tongue". "7 Days Over You" still slaps.
