This is BassSquared v mikale in Round Three of the Clip-Off. You have five days exactly to submit your clips, and until 23:59 EST Thursday, January 5 to vote. January 6 is the Results Day. The categories for Round Five are: 1. Best Vocal Cover: A performance of a song originally by another artist. The point here is not really to compare the two versions, but the cover itself to be impressive enough to stand on its own. 2. Best Late Career Performance: A performance during the last 20% of the singer's adult (18+) career. The teams are free to post their clips, voting commences as soon as they have. Vote here. Current Vote Count: 6

{Best Vocal Cover- Georgia Train} 1:34 to end. Y'know, I naively voted for this category thinking Ninet would be able to crush it with one of her many vocal covers, but then Late Career had to basically lock her in as the oldest member of my team. So instead, here's Georgia with a refreshingly restrained (at least by her standards) take on the Burt Bacharach classic, with some lovely tone and dynamics.
{Best Late Career Performance - Ninet Tayeb} 1:37 to 2:32, 3:05 to 3:37. This stripped-down live-in-studio performance, posted a little over a month ago, shows Ninet's voice in all its unvarnished glory from smooth mids and soft lows to powerhouse raspy highs up to F5. It's clear that her vocals are still in incredible shape at the ripe old age of... *checks notes* 39. Look, this category is weird, ok?
