I realize I have been somewhat lax with enforcing deadlines over the course of this competition, but due to significant lateness in submitting clips and votes respectively, mikale and Goober have each been penalized by 0.5 points this round. Sorry, but them's the rules. Just try not to do it again next time, alright?
Round Eight Information
Round Eight will start Sunday, January 29; you'll be tagged and notified in your thread. You have five days to submit your clips, and until 23:59 EST Tuesday, February 7 to vote. February 8 is the Results Day.
Round Eight is the Second Chance round, in which categories that were voted down previously have come back into the competition.
The categories for Round Eight are:
1. Best Distorted/Harsh/Heavy Singing: Singing that makes use of distortion, grit, screams, growls, or any other "heavy" technique.
2. Best Vocal Ending: A passage that ends the song's vocal part.
