I think I made my point very clear(Let's end this right here!) he is not 4 octave full voice guy but more like 2 octave one. youtu.be/6sqiwABq0y8?t=507 just look at this the other Chinese guy hits F5 in head voice much powerful than dimash's mix, the G5 is not even audible. He is good up until D5 definitely the C6 mix(is still in his range but not usual range, same for every note above F#) is misleading. I am trying to become famious with my vocals. My usable range is D2-F5 in full voice(wider than dimash) and up to F#6 in head voice. If interested open to feedbacks. looking forward to see you conquer the world of music www.youtube.com/watch?v=thbgh0qIscIwooww!!!! stranger live he killed it

another crazy lipsync performance but this time does not have enough taste.. premiere far better Thanks for stranger rehearsal link. As you can see at the very end he does not even sustain that ridiculous 20sec F#. Probably will not even hit C2 F2 G2s of the song and obviously will avoid high F6. I am telling you Dimash is going downhill. Records impressive techniques and does not perform them live. literally proved I was right. Mediocre performance in live parts, tasteless lipsync parts meeeh so sad Terrible ending note(F#5) obviously could not hit it for 20sec and caught up in vibrato literally the most instable vibrato there is(after 3.57 epic fail). Low parts are all lipsync. After 2.14 some tasteless lipsync some A5 some A1-G#1(uncountable obv), soft E6, sounds very amazing. Even ascolta la voce parts are lipsync. After E6 lipsync part, he fails to hit "ground" parts(C#5) with a clear tone(sounds like his throat is not smooth) that's why he hits "in a stranger's land" using higher part of his voice(b2b F#5s) to avoid this problem. (genius to execute this in a very short time to be fair) Beginning parts where he sings live and soft are great. Overall nice(8/10) but nowhere near "out of this world" performance from him.

another crazy lipsync performance but this time does not have enough taste.. premiere far better Is he in a concert of his? No. He most likely didn't care in lip-syncing. My 'analysis': 1. First part clearly live. Weird sound capturing. Would be nice to see fancam. 2. He hits the c2 in the low part. More fry than the other one. Still great though. Lip-synced? Don't know. Kinda hard to tell. Sound quality changed but the voice quality also did dramatically. At least it's a different recording if it's lipped. 3. Okay. It's most likely lipped. Sound quality is too different. 4. Skipped the bb4 belt. Weird. 5. Damn, it sounds like a musical. 6. CRAZY eastern sounding trill and yodeling. Kinda like sinful passion but even faster. Don't know yet if it's lipped, but most likely. 7. Crazy mix belting section. Up to A5. Definately lipped. 8. Unexpected ascolta la voce growl. Won't even try to pitch it. 1st octave obviously. 9. Lipped head voice section with crazy control of dynamics up to e6. A bit post processed not gonna lie. 10. Damn. Closed vowels are hard. 11. 17 seconds f# mix at the end. I think he could've gone longer if he hadn't positioned himself that way. Anyways. Great performance. Unexpected. Definately unexpected. 7.5 - 8/10. Could've used live head voice though.

Just heard Dimash's new Stranger version... The low notes were worse than the New Wave version but still better than I thought (setting standards low is probably the best idea) I find it interesting he chose to do complicated trills like he did in Sinful Passion, very very interesting choice. But the runs just don't sound live at certain parts. And his pronunciation although much better at points was rather off in others. I'm actually rather confused about this performance. Im surprised he didn't go all out with the high chest voice either early on. I'm flat out confused at the entire thing. There's something about those incredibly fast runs and the way he did it that reminded me almost of, dare I say it, Vitas. Not sure why but idk it felt weird this time. The runs werent similar but the fast pace and him going higher than I ever expected him to then just did. The ascolta la voce also didn't really fit in the song... Finally the ending F#5 sounded pretty good but he cut the note a bit short and there were issues near the beginning. Definitely not his best performance ever but its something a bit different. I hope he gets his low notes more consistent but apart from that I don't think he failed anything too badly. Just changed it a lot. My 'analysis': 1. First part clearly live. Weird sound capturing. Would be nice to see fancam. 2. He hits the c2 in the low part. More fry than the other one. Still great though. Lip-synced? Don't know. Kinda hard to tell. Agree with the analysis but I'm actually wondering something. Like it sounds so lip synced at times but I thought the rules of China were really strict on that... maybe someone can inform me on that because I think I forgot how it works there lol

In the singer competition, it was forbbiden to lip-sync, but this one isn't a competition actually. Most likely they allowed it.

About Your Love, I'm surprised he didn't perform that live before he performed Stranger live. I kinda wonder how he would do YL not lipsynced

Back to back to back sustaining D5-G5 with constant modulation is not an easy task. Maybe the 2017 dimash could have been able to sing that live properly. Right now, considering his stranger performance this guy can not end this song with D5-E5-F#5 modulation after endless beltings(not even talking about F6 part)

I hope he gets his low notes more consistent but apart from that I don't think he failed anything too badly. Just changed it a lot. I kinda agree. I wouldn't call the lows parts 'weaker', just more 'fried'. I actually quite liked the tone of them. The trills were really unexpected. Even faster which is crazy. I think the pronunciation is just due to the 'singing factor'. He put more effort in sounding good rather than being understood. The runs don't sound and don't look live. The lipped parts have completely different sounding quality when compared to the clearly live parts. I wouldn't say Vitas though. The trills are so fast it's hard to believe but he has amazing agility, it isn't unimaginable to state he can do that. The ascolta la voce falls into the 'so hyang phenomenon': trying to showcase ability in detriment of musicality. The f# was only 4 seconds shorter, I honestly don't care. Definately not his best but pretty good. Wish we could have fancam of it. Probably would sound better. About Your Love, I'm surprised he didn't perform that live before he performed Stranger live. I kinda wonder how he would do YL not lipsynced To be fair I don't think he can. Back to back to back sustaining D5-G5 with constant modulation is not an easy task. Right now, considering his stranger performance this guy can not end this song with D5-E5-F#5 modulation after endless beltings(not even talking about F6 part) Dude. Why do you care so much with the F6? He can consistently hit perfect e6s. Those are just a semitone lower. But yeah the belts in your love would be difficult. I'd he were fully rested, he could absolutely do it. Dimash 2017 had a much worse mixed voice, he wouldn't perform it better. Sorry.

Right now, considering his stranger performance this guy can not end this song with D5-E5-F#5 modulation after endless beltings(not even talking about F6 part) Why does every single thing Dimash does have to be scrutinized? Despite his tremendous talent, he is still beholden to the same limitations as any other human when it comes to the voice. He is going to get tired, he is going to miss notes, and he is going to have bad nights. So he doesn’t close a song with a D5-E5-F#5 run, or hits a twenty second F#5. Read those things back. We are talking about incredibly difficult vocal passages that a majority of vocalists in this generation would struggle with. It seems to me that anyone who so insistently dwells on Dimash’s faults has come to this thread not to actively discuss him, but to argue about him. While this forum is suitable to all types of discussion, including debate, there’s a point where it just goes too far. Comments about your personal vocal range, for example, are not appropriate in a Dimash thread.

They created a flawless icon and dimash himself took that too personal as he always lipsyncs and tryna be perfect. and today his F#5 was extremely bad.( it is extremely cheeky of his fans sayin he was 3sec short of original version, noone mentions how his vibrato was sh*t. he lost it went straight then added a lame shaky vibrato again, then caught up I almost felt how stressed he was) If his icon was presented as a human being that is capable of makin errors from time to time the whole story would ve been different ofc. That's why I criticize. He is still very good though but not the best of this generation imo.

His vibrato was fully even don't know what you're thinking. But this aura of perfection around Dimash is really toxic, but so is your behaviour. I am also very sad that he is finished. He really proved that he is the next vitas congrats to his fans and him.

youtu.be/l-mQWxbcKTU?t=210 in reality he did not hit back to back F#5s when he sung "in a stranger's land" part. They changed it later. The guy is finished even playbacks are not his savior and that's why I am done with observing him Ima observe some sunrise sunlight and such. Sayonara romantics, Love.

FOR ALL THAT IS SACRED, that's an INCREDIBLY DIFFICULT PART. A closed vowel f#. Bruh. You're not a true Dimash fan. He sustained the same f# for 18 sec and your not satisfied with a 1 second one? You seriously have problems. It actually proves they edit and pitch-shift things afterward, things dimash has no control over.

apart from and some pretty solid jokes around here and how satisfying is dimash musically;is the problem really the range, the control or whatever it is?I honestly don't think so.tell me a person who does things the way he does or even better under the exact same circumstances.if not, then let me remind you that critiquing and going mental against dimash cause his fans are delusional are not the same thing.hitting some notes and singing them for years with elongated tours are not the same thing either but I believe the majority of us agree on that so it's irrelevant.

I would like to mention something I and many others didn't know/completely forgot about when it came to the Stranger performance today; Dimash actually had respiratory problems during recording. He mentioned this in an interview at the Shine Super Brothers show in which the performance was from. I can find it if anyone asks lol. Not sure how much it affected his performance but its good to keep in mind.

Sir, I can sing in that range. I will record my stranger cover soon (obviously I will modulate some parts my full voice range is B1-G5(F# is hard for me), probably gonna hit a semi dark D#5(I think I am the only male who can do that note in semi dark fashion) w/vibrato while ending the song later on will slide up to a straight F5). I will send the cover to you privately. I will not post it here as I respect Mr Dimash Q.

He probably doesn't get sick any more than you or I do but it seems like a lot. A few times in four years isn't often but it feels like a lot. It's probably from fatigue because of how hard his songs are, how much he practices and perhaps not having perfect technique all the time (although he is really good at having a somewhat healthy technique most of the time)
