Joaquin Rafael Phoenix (Leaf Rafael Phoenix) (28 October 1974)
Vocal Range: D2 - E4
{Vocal Summary}
Best known for his acting skill, Joaquin Phoenix has dabbled into music on a few occasions, most notably his portrayal of Johnny Cash in the universally acclaimed Walk the Line in 2005. Listening to the associated soundtrack, you would not have thought that Joaquin had to learn to sing and play guitar just for the role. He sells Cash's songs with a similar warmth as the man in black himself, demonstrating some ability to get down to the lower 2nd octave, though less stably and powerfully. It's a great performance, both from a vocal and acting perspective, but, being the enigma he is, instead of developing this style further he would choose rap music as his next musical foray in the mockumentary I'm Still Here. Strong singing was never the aim here but as a songwriter there is some talent there, that will perhaps burgeon with the upcoming Joker sequel. Emo is perhaps Joaquin's next stop in his musical journey, who can really say.

a. Short yell
Questionable notes are any notes with a questionable significance. In short, this spoiler acknowledges notes that I am aware exist, but do not want to contribute to the singer's range. These involve (but are not limited to) weak vocal fry, uncontrolled slides, very short notes, notes hit at an ambiguous pitch and notes where it is unclear who is singing.
