Jane Relf is a british singer famous for being vocalist for progressive rock bands Renaissance and Illusion. She just recorded first two album with Renaissance before Annie Haslam definite arrival. She had some progressive rock bands with her musical partner Jim McCarty. They both came from famous musical rock group "The Yardbirds" and after that they co-found some bands as Renaissance, Illusion or Stairway.
Jane had a beautiful light tone on her singing, usually pretty clear (mainly when she was young) they can be appreciated clean and beautiful vocal passages from her accompaniments during the instrumental sections parts from Renaissance albums, adding a very magic and soft essence to the music. The perfect essence for it imo.
