New song "Light It Up" rests on A4 and has crystal clear and very well sustained backing D5s. I don't think his thresholds need changing at all tbh, it is "significant notes" and a song like Make It All Right that tops out at G#4 sounds like it's in his comfortable range the whole time. G#4 would be fine, G4 would be overinclusion. (I also think E3 is totally fine for the bottom. He doesn't have a hard time with low notes, he just doesn't do them much.)
Edit: I was vindicated, no other song on Supercharged doesn't hit A4 and only one other song rests on G#4 (being You Can't Get There From Here, which has some very significant Bb4s as well). I don't think there are any other low notes besides the Bb2 in Make It All Right, OBTITLT has some brief D3s though

Ayo crack you need any help notewatching Supercharged for this thread? the whole album is one big A4. tho there are nice Bb4s in Hanging by a Thread and strong C5s in Get Some. you can notewatch it if you want but homelander said in the previous page that he wants to yoink this thread so if one of you grab it and make it look nicer that could be sweet

It's slow, but progress is being made. I've just been busy with other things lately.

notewatching supercharged from memory
looking out for #1: A4, C5 light it up: A4, C#5, D5 the fall guy: A4, B4 make it all right: Bb2 ok: A4, questionable D3 truth in fiction: A4, B4 come to brazil: A4, Bb4, C5 get some: A4, C5, C#5 i might call italic if that was here, E5 that im not sure is him hanging by a thread: Bb4, B4 you cant get there from here: Bb4
fwiw, the lowest lead note is like, A3. bumping the threshold would do almost nothing for low note inclusion unless you bump it WAY too much. the only remotely close note i can think of is a backing F#3 in long way home

It's not like he even has enough notes in the F3 - A3 range to make it worthwhile to add those categories.

i only reiterated bc i kinda had a change in heart, i include up to F#3 on some lower placed guys because theyre in pop punk bands that barely use that range so that "doesnt have a hard time" thing didnt really ring true anymore, so i reconsidered it and landed on the second point
