To me, there’s nothing really impressive about the E♭5, and I think I won’t even count it because it’s technically off key I do not know which key the song is in but I can definitely hear some G♯ and E♭chords being played, meaning E♭5 is definitely not off-key lol. Sounds pretty damn strong to me, to be honest, I'd say the perfect amount of grit as well. Yeah, the sustained B♭4 afterwards does sound nice, however, I think the E♭is more likely the driving note here. Also, there's a C♯5 in the exact same point in the studio version.

Mhhh yeah actually my apologies, I’ve always thought the studio note was a D5 and I hadn’t double checked since last year. So you’re right, the E flat isn’t off key :) And I’ll make it bold just for you, as I was wrong before haha

Honestly I still don’t think it’s pitched. She hits and sustains a pretty strong B♭2 in a yet to be released collaboration with FKA twigs, so it doesn’t really make me question the legitimacy of the G♯2. She only has one studio A2 that she hits at the very end of a phrase, so it’s not really the best note to compare the G♯2 to. She has an impressive ease with the second octave, but if I wasn’t the owner of the thread, I wouldn’t be mad if the note wasn’t included tbh. Can you help me chose dua lipa's best low live vocals ?

Hey can anyone help me chose dua lipa's best low live vocals please? I don’t really listen to her live performance too often, so I can’t help you much, but usually she’s amazing in acoustic performances

I think you could honestly mark those “Love Again” backing D5s as black tbh, especially the ones in the chorus

If you were wondering the F#5 in Levitating is real. You can definitely hear it when she says the chorus, you should hear it when the beat stops and she says I need you (it’ll sound more clear).

Oh I was surprised by those head voice notes in the new single. They're quite good.

And yes - also not convinced by the G#2.
