Well if it's agreed that his voice had broken and settled reasonably at that point, then it should be. 16 isn't that uncommon for a male treble voice. 17 or 18 is pushing statistics.

it was recorded when he was quite literally 14 years old, so I decided against notewatching it since it has little to nothing to do with his post-pubescent voice

his voice only finishes developing  around 16 years old or so

I don't like the argument of "oh but voices never stop changing", it's a very easy way to feign dementia and pretend all biologically male voices don't generally immensely drop during puberty. He sounds irrecognizably different in those early recordings, if you heard Luis Miguel sing at age 50 and age 17 though you'd definitely be able to tell it's the same person, though - despite the given natural changes to his instrument.

The album Fever of Love was recorded after Words of Honor, although leaving that aside. There are many low and high notes that are not included. Are you going to update the post?
