I wouldn't bother bolding the Phantom Lord B4 since there are two other, quite a lot better bolded B4s.

Highs pretty much everywhere, tops at D5 or so? Pretty cool demo too. Unless they're playing that riff in a weird position, it sounds like it's tuned up a half-step.

I remember reading they'd play the demos half a step higher back then somewhere? Even then, those are some pretty good C#5s, certainly better than the 5th octave Kill Em All screams.

Yeah the tape speed is off by a half-step. This is the correct speed:

I'm still seeing a number of good notes from his TRP3 thread that haven't been listed in this one yet, despite it being moved to Range Stuff. {"Don't You Think This Outlaw Bit Has Done Got Out of Hand"} A4s at 2:22, and a strong C♯2 at 3:35 {"My Apocalypse" live at the 30 Year Anniversary} Slide up to an F5 here {"Metal Militia" live at Old Waldorf 1982} E5 here (or sharp E♭5; I could go either way on it) {"The Thing That Should Not Be" live Adelaide 2013} D5 here {"Broken, Beaten & Scarred" live Mexico City 2009} A short D5 here {"Cyanide" live Sofia 2010} Another short D5 here {"The Ecstasy of Gold"} Some nice clean B4s here And these are just a few examples that I've been able to find by looking over his TRP3 thread for a little bit; all pretty noticeably visible towards the top of it. I really think this thread would benefit from you doing a thorough cross-comparison with that version of the thread; otherwise we might actually end up losing research as a result of restarting this one from scratch.

{"The Thing That Should Not Be" live Adelaide 2013} D5 here Speaking of this one, there's a better C#5/D5 at 15:03

Are the time-stamps right? Video is only 55 seconds long.

kewis do you think you could compile a list of the other notes currently missing from the OP that were in yours? I've been trying to dig them up, but some of them are live notes that I don't have links to verify. Been looking some of them up
1:09 and 3:58
19:46
I had these listed as "Metal Militia (several live performances)", but in retrospect I'm not sure if it's worth bothering since they're just short yelps.
2:34 probably his best C5, in all honesty.
6:50 this one has always bothered me. Sounds like an E2 but might be just a very darkened E3. Has the same tone as the "The Frayed Ends of Sanity" lows but is far stronger, and compared to other darkened 3rd octave notes at 5:26, it certainly sounds lower.
2:37 G5 here
There's this low passage at 1:12. And I remember some quiet (what sounded to be) C2s in the Woodstock 1994 performance
2:29 low backing vocal. "One man's fun is another's HELL"

Also, have we thought about a top 10 performances list? Some that come to mind: -My Friend of Misery -The Unforgiven (really, all 3 Unforgivens come to mind) -Halo on Fire -The Outlaw Torn -Sabbra Cadabra -Ronnie Rising Medley -Cure -Low Man's Lyric -Bleeding Me -Dyers Eve As for live performances, I can think of No Leaf Clover and the S&M version of Outlaw Torn and Bleeding Me, the Moscow 1991 versions of Creeping Death and Sad But True, The Thing That Should Not Be Adelaide 2013 for now. I would add Hate Train and Rebel of Babylon to that list
