I had notewatched the first few songs then stopped. I didn't know the exact pitch for the lows because I'm not good at pitching sung-spoken stuff.

Some isolated vocal tracks from the album. I did remove the "center channel" from the stereo track and there is a very impressive E5/F5 slide from My Apocalypse under the main vocal. Also some low singing around C2 or maybe lower mixed with pitch FX from Judas Kiss.

Whoa, great finds! I'm only hearing the "My Apocalypse" note get up to D5, but it's still probably the best note I've heard from him at that pitch so far. And then the "Judas Kiss" clips get down to some hella strong C2s and B1s! Turns out he actually has been using that part of his range at least sometimes in studio songs...he's just burying it way far in the background to the point that it's inaudible without isolation like that. Its a vocal double for sure. So to me it looks like one is the D4 to D5 slide and the double goes to E5. One more distorted then the other.

Wow, really nice finds! Thanks for that. Might be the faintest backing vocals i've come across- in the actual songs both of those sound inaudible.
I hear Eb5 for the "My Apocalypse" note, and at least C#2 (and maybe lower) for the "Judas Kiss" vocals.
How did you do those, by the way?

The one I found is the Drum+Vocals (from rock band or guitar hero) with the drums Ai removed. And cuz the tracks are stereo you can take out the center channel witch with most tracks leaves you with backing vocals.

Really solid stuff the last few years. Hetfield himself said he can’t stand listening to Kill em All cuz of his old vox

I found some more lows you could add to the thread. James does spoken word throughout. Kind of an interesting approach, don't know if I like it though…

Kind of an interesting approach, don't know if I like it though… What I'm hearing here: -Lot of B1s through -3:51 Questionable friysh F#1 similar to the A1 on " Loverman": "Nothing is real but pain now" -And after that: "Hold my breath as I wish for death, Oh please, God, wake me"... A1s?? -4:53 "Wake me" ....?

-3:51 Questionable friysh F#1 similar to the A1 on " Loverman": "Nothing is real but pain now" Getting a subby B1 on this one, but doesn't really matter since there are several countable B1 throughout the track -And after that: "Hold my breath as I wish for death, Oh please, God, wake me"...A1s?? Hearing B♭1 and a D2 dipping in a breathy nothingness personally C♯2. The "Wake me" before that barely makes it to a super breathy A1, wouldn't count personally 6:41 on "darkness imprisoning ME" That's a G2

6:41 on "darkness imprisoning ME" That's a G2 Was this a typo? Because I'm all but positive I didn't mispitch it by almost an entire octave Coming back to it now I'm actually hearing it get down to G♯1.
