One of my favorite modern metal singers, Brittney Slayes of Unleash the Archers possesses all the powerhouse belting and glass shattering wailing skills necessary for a modern power metal band, but with a clarity of diction and tone that is unparalleled in the scene. Her often heroic sounding vocal style serves as the perfect foil for the harsh vocalists in the band and gives an added sense of legitimacy to their Sci-Fi and Fantasy themes. Truly an underrated talent.

Well here's some new exciting news! The lineup for this new Star One album is just looking more and more promising with every announcement. Predictably awesome sustained A5 and melody E5s here anyway, and I'm sure much more to come in the full song.

C5 at 1:45, E5s at 2:05, F5 at 2:37, that awesome A5 at 2:44, another awesome key change G♯5 at 3:54, and a backing G5 at 4:56. Was kinda hoping that those additional chorus harmonies at the end would build to a crazy C6 harmony over the final ending A5, but this was an absolute banger of a song and vocal performance regardless. Also perhaps even one of Michael Romeo's more enjoyable guitar solos for me as well, for that matter!
