Blue marks soft, disconnected falsetto or whistle notes.
Green marks distorted or screamed notes.

Italics mark non-melodic notes.
Boldface marks notes that are considered to be particularly notable examples of this person's vocal capabilities.
Perhaps one of the better examples of a singer's voice not matching their face, "Saint" Paul Janeway and his Broken Bones have drawn numerous listeners with the pleasant surprise of hearing a mountain-moving old-school soul voice come out of a chubby, bespectacled white man who resembles a bank teller. His powerful, often histrionic vocal performances convey joy and catharsis with equal skill, particularly during the band's energetic live shows. Range-wise he is undeniably high-placed, sounding far more comfortable in the fourth octave than the third, and his high notes are numerous and impressive. Recently he has largely abandoned the distorted, raw-throated screams that featured in the band's early work, preferring a powerful fifth-octave mixed wail or an almost whistle-like falsetto. Demonstrations of his lower register are nigh-on nonexistent, likely as much due to his musical style as his placement, though he'll occasionally sing a backing vocal line down to the bottom of the third octave that shows decent control. Despite this weak point, however, he is immensely good at what he does, and it's clear he gives his all in every song.
