E5? They did a concert as a Pantera and played some of classics. Phil seems to be in a good shape.

Sounds like a G#5 in head voice to me. Sounds close to his Cowboys From Hell title track highs to me. What about the slide up to F#5 at 0:58? That to me is what's convincing me it's more head voice, similar to this part in This Love: www.youtube.com/watch?v=hG2arXJZnuU&t=5m2s

Some random guy uploaded a bunch of high quality footage of Pantera from late 1987. Some of the best/earliest footage of Phil and his high register is stronger here than it was anytime later. He's pretty much effortlessly in the F5-G5 range. I haven't notewatched all of the clips, but he hits what sounds like a possibly-unintentional G#5 or flat A5 at 4:23 here: youtu.be/xy2buB8RGkg?t=262
