K'noup Tomopoulos is the eccentric and exotic frontman of one of my favorite bands ever, Viza. He's a bit of an interesting case vocally - kind of the opposite of all aspects of range that are traditionally considered "impressive" and demonstrative of ones abilities, as his high range is pretty limited and it's very rare to hear him sing cleanly above A4. He does make good use of his low range though, as second octave notes are quite common in Viza's music (though they he starts to get pretty growly from the lower second octave onward), and he's probably my #1 favorite vocalist when it comes to harsh vocals, as he often makes up for his lack of typical high notes by throwing in distorted screamed notes in their place, some of which can be very powerful and effective at times.
K'noup is also a good example of someone who doesn't let his lack of high range get in the way of himself writing strong, effective vocal melodies that still work well with his band's music. He has a great sense of energy to his vocals, and delivers them with a theatrical style that perfectly suits the whacked out festive music of Viza. For those unfamiliar, Viza play what they call "world rock", which is a blend of modern hard rock/metal stylings with various traditional/folk music styles from around the world - much of it is Mediterranean-based, but you'll also hear Spanish, Egyptian, Middle-Eastern, and much more in there. The first album of theirs that I heard was Made in Chernobyl, which is mostly based on Russian/Eastern European stylings and subject matter and is a top ten favorite album of mine that I would highly recommend. Hopefully there's a couple other fans somewhere on here, and if not perhaps I can interest some of you in giving a listen!

I'll add for the record that I'm not 100% sure about the pitches of some of the screams listed. I'm also a little skeptical about a lot of backing vocal notes, because a lot of other band members tend to do backing vocals as well in Viza, so I'm trying to just list notes where it's clearly recognizable enough as K'noup's voice.
