I think the Eb1 was deemed to be produced by throat singing iirc. That spoilered Eb7 sounded really convincing to me as a 7th octave note though.

I bet Mike Patton is crying as we speak about his now pitiful 5 octave and 5 semitones range, his career is over he will now have to go into hiding out of shame

I will not stop until he has the clean 6 octaves.

That spoilered Eb7 sounded really convincing to me as a 7th octave note though I was the one that put the Eb7 in question... Sounds like a Whammy bending. You can see him moving a knob or something while the note gets higher.

It did seem off, I would have counted the Delìrium Còrdia F7 before that one. Damn you inhaling

dimash's D8 is fake, it's only a matter of time till people catch on.

dimash's D8 is fake, it's only a matter of time till people catch on. The note itself sounds real enough to me. But it is blatantly lip-synced.

He'll probably hit a B0 someday. But by then we'll have already found out the B6 was just a sample of a tea kettle or newborn piglet or something and he still won't have a 6 octave range.

What do you think of the notes that I sent? Those are VISIBLY inhaled, whatever they are.

The first one seems inhaled for sure, but I do not know about the second one.

The first one seems inhaled for sure, but I do not know about the second one. The second one is visibly inhaled too. But it also sounds inhaled. Source: tons of experience with doing various kinds of whistle register myself. I can agree some of the discussed 7th octaves have some % chance of not being overtones/inhaled, but these are very clearly not examples of that. Also if you watch closely, he sings the high notes into a different mic which could also be pitch shifted an octave up. Mike is definitely not the easiest singer to notewatch. O_o

1: E♭6 2: C♯6 (but with a strong F♯6 overtone) 3: No idea 4: F6 5: D6 I'd add these to the thread, but I don't know the song titles (with the exception of 2, which is Delìrium Còrdia) This might get down to F1, but it doesn't really hold a solid pitch at all. As for the Page 27 clip, the first timestamp is inhaled, the second timestamp i'm guessing is around G♯6. I've added it as such.
