Not sure where else to put this, but does anyone think that the B flat 4s at 5:12 onwards could be Phil Collins? He's credited with additional vocals on this album.

We were discussing this note on Discord the other day, and there seemed to be a wide range of opinions on it: I was hearing it as a screamy/overtoney B♭5 while Tony Iommi's guitar played a D5 under it. Apparently queenfan11 hears it as the opposite - with Iommi playing a B♭5 and Dio hitting a rough D5. Baronessa hears Iommi's guitar note as a D5 as well, but also hears Dio's vocal note as a D5 or E♭5. Then MrToddington described it as "F5ish with weird overtoney stuff", but wasn't really sure and said that he might need to give it a spectrograph analysis. I'm like, 100% sure that Iommi's guitar note is a D5 at the very least. I was reasonably confident that Dio's vocal note was a B♭5 too, but the amount of other opinions is making me second-guess that much a little, so I figured I'd bring it up here to see what people think.  |

1. it's definitely not 6th octave 2. how tf was this note even produced he has a few notes later in his career that are produced with um rather interesting techniques that are unknown to science |

Wanting to move along some of my WIP threads and one of the outstanding issues is Ricky Gervais' alleged C2. Macca and I think he gets to C2 but BAZanine thinks he stops at C#. |

I think I agree with C2, but the low quality upload makes it difficult to tell. Was that recording given a proper HQ release? This is another upload but it doesn't sound much improved. It isn't on spotify and can only be found on a DVD which is probably the source of these uploads. This is the best we have unfortunately. |
