All I Said is that he said is he is a baritone nothing else to it He doesn't have the booming singing voice of a natural low bass like Ioannis Tsoumaris or John Ames, who can sing powerfully without a microphone down towards F#1. I don't know how much of a baritone he is. People tend to categorize male singers into (low) bass, baritone or tenor. His timbre suggests that he is a high bass / low baritone with an enormous modal range. Because he's a contemporary singer, he doesn't need a voice classification. But it's okay to have fun either way I classify contemporary singers, too 😉.

He can sing a modal D2 easily, but that's not the point.

He Said he is a baritone in one of his videos Self identity =/= actual voice type and if you want to be accurate, I politely ask you to take my advice before coming to conclusions. Besides, he's contemporary so it doesn't really matter. I guess I won't debate too much about his voice type because it has been a hot topic in the last few years.

He Said he is a baritone in one of his videos he’s wrong, korn thinks they are a funk band and Soundgarden described themselves as a punk band, artists opinions on themselves aren’t inherently more valid than listeners opinions on them Though I won't debate too much about Geoff's voice type, I will say that I agree with you that Geoff is a bass who thinks he's a baritone. But as Kaji said, it doesn't really matter. Geoff's voice type is so controversial and that's why I won't go much into the detail.

He's got some super low notes, but according to himself, he's not a loud singer. Watch his unprocessed short videos and you'll see that nothing going on in octave 1 or 2 is loud.

As I said, it's such a controversial topic that I won't talk about it to much.

Fair enough yeah I didn't realize he was banned until later.
