He doesn't have the booming singing voice of a natural low bass like Ioannis Tsoumaris or John Ames, who can sing powerfully without a microphone down towards F#1.

I don't know how much of a baritone he is. People tend to categorize male singers into (low) bass, baritone or tenor.  His timbre suggests that he is a high bass / low baritone with an enormous modal range.

He's going for a C1. The result is coarse but it sounds a bit higher than Bobby Waters' "Bb0" which is really a B0.

Misattributing low notes is common with a lot of youtube videos. One video has London Parris down to E1, another down to Eb1. But it's always an F1.
