Best Use of Chest Voice: David Coverdale - Slave (to 2:00) Coverdale spans over three octaves in this cut from his obscure 1999 solo album In the Light, ranging from a dark sung spoken C2 to throaty mid-range singing to girth-y, chesty C#5s on the chorus. Best Usage of Head Voice: Scot Weiland - Glide (to 2:34) While not exclusively head voice, Weiland 'glides' in between chesty lower to mid-range singing to his ethereal head voice to give the song a floaty, dreamlike feel.
