With a myriad of sustains ranging from some notes that aren't Bb4 to notes that certainly are Bb4s, Andy shows us that length isn't all that matters with sustains; it's how you use them, and in his case he chose to use them a lot. Now you might be saying maybe I should've added some more build up in the clip since I said it's how you use them which kinda implies the need of context in the clip and i get that but at the time of writing this I had already closed the tab so fuck you I'm not selecting a new timestamp.
