High tenor singer for The Beach Boys, joining the group in 1965 as a touring member only and gradually becoming more featured as time went on. He currently is one of only two primary members to still be with the "official" band. A very soothing tenor voice, with absolutely no sign of harshness whatsoever. Because of this, his vocal strong suit was ballads (this is very evident in his solo album, which contains the future Barry Manilow hit "I Write the Songs").
If you have any other notes that I need to be aware of, don't hesitate to reply!
