{Vocal Summary / Biography}Dan Campbell is the lead singer of both the pop punk band The Wonder Years, founded in 2005, and folk rock band Aaron West and the Roaring Twenties, founded in 2014. As a vocalist, his most noticeable feature is his ability to sing in both an incredibly raspy tone and a softer tone, best demonstrated in The Wonder Years and Aaron West and The Roaring Twenties respectively; the emotion and angst delivered in these tones, especially his grittier tone, could be polarizing, as it can be grating at times. He is capable of controlling his mixed voice to the lower edge of the fifth octave without much trouble, even while using his more iconic gritty approach to singing, and he is able to sing long-winded phrases in the fourth and fifth octaves without losing control. His falsetto is relatively unused and weak when it is used, either due to the lack of use and practice, or the necessity in the style of music he plays. Lastly, his lower register carries a lot of depth, even through its occasionally breathy tone, but it isn't necessarily the most comfortable area of his voice.
