Singer for groove/alt metal band Soil and former frontman for Drowning Pool. McCombs has quite a huge, burley sounding high range that is surprisingly fairly agile and powerful compared to most other singers in his genre, able to easily hit some of the hugest gritty B♭4s I've personally ever heard, and has demonstrated the ability to maintain that powerful tone even into the lower fifth octave. Early on, he often employed the infamous "yarl" style for most of his mid to lower range singing, however around the time of his joining Drowning Pool he seemed to mostly shed that in favour of a more natural baritone sound. While mostly employed for backing vocals, his low range is still fairly well utilized, especially considering he's the first Drowning Pool vocalist to consistently hit solid lead vocal second octave (and lower) notes on one of their studio albums. He is overall a fairly underrated vocalist and certainly stands out amongst many of the other "tough guy" style vocalists.
