This is Breakfast in D-sharp v BassSquared in Round Six of the Clip-Off. You have five days to submit your clips, and until 23:00 GMT Time Wednesday, July 29 to vote. July 30 is the Results Day. Heads up, for Round Seven (the team round) you are required to use only one of your singers. It will have to be the singer you do not choose in this round, so pick wisely! The categories for Round Six are: 1. Best Singing Spanning an Octave or Less: A clip that's made interesting despite not spanning more than an octave of vocal range. 2. Best Singing Spanning Two Octaves or More: Singing that's probably going out of its way to sound impressive by spanning two octaves of vocal range or more. The pair are free to post their clips, voting commences as soon as they have. Vote here. Current Vote Count: 5

In a shocking turn of events, I'm not turning my clips in at the last minute this time! Let's see how well that works out... {Octave or Less: Rachael Price}
0:28 to 2:27. A slow, New Orleans-flavored cover of the Jackson 5's "I Want You Back" in which Rachael delivers a smooth, dynamic vocal performance that never feels too constrained despite its single octave of range (A3-A4). Shows off her live vocal consistency and tone quite well too.
{2+ Octaves: Peter Steele}
0:06 to 1:54. Some nicely sepulchral low stuff down to B1, abruptly followed by some of Pete's best F#4s in a bit of relatively high singing that's got both clean, smooth belting and some powerful grit towards the end.
