Should I pursue singing or not? (738 views)

Hello there. 

I'm new here and I'd like to get one (or more)  professional opinion on whether I can sing well or not and if it's worthwile pursuing. Don't get me wrong, singing is my very favorite thing to do in the world but I want for it to make sense and I don't want to embarrass myself and keep going, when actually, I don't even have what it takes.

You have a beautiful tone! I'm definitely an amateur compared to the other users on this sight, but I really like your voice. I'd say work on your intonation, as it's not one of your strong suits, but keep going! You sound great!

If there really is nothing else that you love more I think you kind of answer your own question. I mean as far as technical criticisms go we can obsess about those until we die, I certainly intend to do that, but in the end you're responsible for your own satisfaction with your voice.

There might be something you want to achieve with your voice that you feel you haven't yet, but the wealth of information available to you in regards to that is separate from (though not mutually exclusive with) your passion as a singer. If you have a vision for your voice you have what it takes.
