Leonard Simon Nimoy (26 March 1931 - 27 February 2015)
Years Active: 1951 - 2015
Voice Type: Baritone
Vocal Range: C♯2 - D4
{Vocal Summary}Primarily an actor, Leonard Nimoy as a singer is a pretty straightforward concept. Nimoy's singing voice isn't particularly developed, having about the same qualities as your average male of his placement. In regards to this, Nimoy is close to the likes of Bing Crosby and Johnny Cash in terms of placement, being very comfortable in his lower register whilst becoming uncomfortable in his higher range as early as the upper third octave. Overall, one wouldn't be missing much in not hearing the musical portion of Nimoy's career on the whole, although it and Nimoy's dabbling in singing remains an interesting novelty to look back on.
