The "On a Saturday Night" C6 is definitely falsetto I agree, the C6 should definitely be blue in my opinion.

Pavarotti never performed below C#3 either, but low notes are demanding on an unmiked opera singer. He sang a rather beautiful C#3 on microphone in a duet with Bocelli. Bocelli can sing much lower, but Pavarotti's C#3 sounded as good as his. Then there's speculation, but some times things deteroriate rapidly outside of a trained singer's best range. Steve Perry and fry ? Who knows. Is there an example of him producing a decent fry note at any pitch ? This is incorrect. Pavarotti has done notes in the second octave before. Do you have a clip ?

This is incorrect. Pavarotti has done notes in the second octave before. Do you have a clip ? I'm not done with his thread at all yet but off the top of my head he does sing a B-flat in the duet from La forza del destino, which he performed a few times in concert. And took the low B-flat more often than not. There are also several ensemble pieces in roles he did which require low Bs and B-flats. And he has recorded an A that I remember hearing in one of his later pop recordings. Although I'm not that far into notewatching him so wouldn't be able to point out the specific song. But B-flat 100%.

This is incorrect. Pavarotti has done notes in the second octave before. Why are you responding to an irrelevant post from over a year ago In the quiet embrace of these rain-soaked days of the new year, I find myself drawn to the remnants of past conversations, poring over forgotten threads that stir a longing within. As the droplets paint patterns on the window, I am compelled to reach out and touch the memories that beckon from the depths of old posts, feeling the familiar ache as I gently press the 'respond' button, hoping to rekindle the echoes of bygone moments. On that note, Steve fucking Perry, where's that B2?

Idk but he is getting boinkedAre we sure it's a he ? kaji should know of course, since he's talking to Steve. I looked through the various videoes with "La forza del destino" where Pavarotti allegedly hits a Bb2, and he doesn't in any of them (usually around the 7 minute mark). There's a video that highlights this, with various singers doing it right afterwards. He has some weak sounding C3s in the clips, before ascending again. Franco Corelli's Bb2 is very convincing. youtu.be/7_4tHY59wYM?si=uES4VHtBLFAkq-gv

A play on English words. I'm sure Pavarotti has an A2 in some pop song somewhere.

A few roles he recorded that have notes below C3 - Arnold Melchtal (Bb2 - Rossini: Guillaume Tell), Tebaldo (Ab2 - Rossini: I Capuletti e i Montecchi) and Radames (Bb2 - Verdi: Aida). There are more but these off the top of my head. I can't tell you if he did the Ab2 in I Capuleti e i Montecchi as I have not listened to him sing it but I remember him doing some pretty good lows in Guillaume Tell. I didn't notewatch it yet but I did listen to the recording before. Are we sure it's a he ? kaji should know of course, since he's talking to Steve. Also, indeed Corelli had a better Bb2 than some historical baritones (Ruffo, Granforte, Battistini, etc.).

Luciano does in fact have a B2 in Verdi's Otello - www.youtube.com/watch?v=KEkcn4p2cMk&t=48sAlso speaking of Steve - how comfortable is he above C belting?

Basing off this he can do a lot more than an average tenor - youtu.be/UMvvE2jN1JA?si=v4Cz2gmWG3SavgwY&t=186 Up to E-flats later on.
