The long-time classic vocalist for Candlemass, as well as for several lesser known bands such as Memento Mori, Stillborn, etc. By far the band's most well known and distinct vocalist, Messiah's main trademarks are his pseudo-operatic vibrato and belting, solidifying Candlemass' "epic" doom metal style. He also makes use of, albeit very rarely, of some high head voice screams as well; while his usage of lows is plainly few and far between (rather odd given Candlemass' ominous style). While no longer with Candlemass, Messiah's unique style and persona seems to have held up even to this day.
