{Vocal Summary}
Best known as the singer for visual kei band CLØWD, KØU's distinctive vocals have remained iconic even after the band's break-up.
KØU began his singing career in 2012 with visual kei J-rock band "the sherry", enjoying modest success as the group's frontman. It was not until forming CLØWD in 2014, however, that KØU enjoyed international success. Leading the group from the front, KØU's vocals were shown off in a variety of different colours; songs like "ANTITHESE" showed off his fantastic belting ability, while "Thank you for coming" displayed a softer, almost feminine quality to his voice.
Since CLØWD's break-up in 2018, KØU has remained active. He began his solo career in 2019, releasing his first solo album "The Beginning", and continued to be active throughout 2020 through a series of covers on his YouTube channel. These covers demonstrate that his voice is better than ever; "Hakujitsu" alone demonstrates over 3 octaves of full-voice range (F2 - F♯5), and the covers span a variety of different styles and genres.
KØU's voice remains unique, versatile and powerful, and he shows no sign of slowing down.
