{Vocal Summary}Hailing From Rhode Island, Alexis S.F Marshall first made his way into the grindcore and metalcore scene of the early 2000's, In Bands Such As "As The Sun Sets", and some of Daughters first albums. Alexis Often Utilized a mixture of high pitched screams and death growls but has since abandoned both since the 3rd album of Daughters. After that, he incorporated a shouted approach to his singing, as he would often shout lyrics with the band's abrasive sound. He Captured The Intensity and despair the band is known for as they have received worldwide acclaim because of their highly successful album, "You Won't Get What You Want". Alexis often uses his higher more mixy register more in albums which could get all the way up to a F♯5 in songs. This Register is more used like a secret weapon and could come when you least expect it.. He normally belted around the F♯4 area but can also often go higher, even up to B4 as seen in "The Hit''. His Lower Register Is Solid but isn't fully utilized to its potential as he is shown to hit some solid G2's in "Less Sex' and even down to F♯2'. While Currently There's no new records from Daughters as of right now, Alexis vocals never fail to get me disinterested and have always had a captivating presence in rock today. Written by Smitty.
