He says he had a calling from God that he has to participate in as many projects as he can so he's on a mission to be the singer with the most associated projects. He mentioned it on his yt channel too. Unique goal I guess

Unique goal I guess One can say that may sound egotistical but as someone who has listened to his bands since my discovery of metal since my teens, I still believe Thompson still has sincerity and passion in his goals and motivation. That's what I call true love for the craft. |

This is all kind of funny. Most have not heard my entire body of work and some comments are so far outdated that I honestly have no idea what is being written. I open my mouth, words come out, some high notes, some low notes. Ever hear of Haunted No More? I did not think so. You cannot judge a man by a single note, a song, or even calibrate the registry after an album. I have recorded over 2000 songs. Maybe even more, I lost count. I am still recording practically once a week now, new material. Bride's new double album will be out later this year and I am making a move back to the States where I will put Bride back on the road for a short while before sinking into retirement. Howdy. Bride's my favorite band, and I have a few notes and things to add. Missing the live 1983 casette! If anyone finds it, please let me know I have that tape, and digitized to boot! I've just been dragging my feet on posting it online because I want to clean it up. :{ I also have duplicates of the Eyes Wide Open EP and gospel album. I don't have the time to note-watch them, but would it be possible for me to ship them to you? I don't know what complications there are in getting media to your country. There were a few other oddball Bride releases, such as the "RAW" demo released ahead of This Is It. Matrix has 4 demo albums (you list "2/2") as well as the live tape - though you do reference songs on the first three. Should I post the 4th, "Studio Junkie?" The only "new" material would be demos of 4 Show No Mercy songs. Also, I have some material that wasn't released. I am working on getting it digitized. Since it wasn't ever official material (demos that weren't published), would they be proper to contribute? C1 [...] "Unknown Song"Live;Inhaled, The song is "Picture Perfect". On a humorous note, I'm slightly miffed at myself for not finding this thread (and website) before Dale himself did. While he's probably too busy to make that 30-minute response video joked about above, it would seems he did have time to look up his own voice. Fair enough! |

I actually used your channel to find a lot of the old material lmao. If you have any material that can be linked, there is a private message function on this site where you can share what you have. It would be greatly appreciated! The issue was that when ordering CDs from roxx, it specifically said they don't ship to me. It's probably some rights/distribution thing. But if you would ship them over, I think it shouldn't be a problem. If you're in the US, I will just have to pay a customs fee, but it should work. We can also discuss this in PMs. I think I found some of the demo songs from the other tapes, as you noticed, but forgot to update that number in the thread. Indeed I haven't heard show no mercy demos, so those would be a new addition! As far as unreleased material goes, Dale needs to agree it's ok if it's just for these research purposes and not uploaded anywhere else. I think that's his call. |

I've pretty much gotten carte blanch from the both of them to release the stuff - I just wondered if you're aiming for only officially released material. Then again, you cite live footage, so... whatever goes! ^_^;; |
