Do you consider Mongolian Throat Singing part of the vocal range?

It's definitely a part of the vocal range, but the question of WHAT part is where it becomes confusing. Throat singing can create some very convincing undertones/overtones that can give the impression of singers hitting much more extreme notes than they are with it, when in reality they are likely hitting a more "ordinary" pitch and manipulating the sound of it to seem an octave or more higher/lower than it is.
