Best Sustained High Note(s): A passage wherein any sustained high note - relative to the singer - is sung.
Best Usage of Scales/Arpeggios: Vocals that use a particular scale or chord in order to go up and/or down.

Best Distorted/Harsh/Heavy Singing: Singing that uses vocal distortion, a harsh tone and/or is generally heavy-sounding.
Best Late Career Performance: A performance during the last 20% of the singer's adult (18+) career.
Best Melismatic Singing: The singing of successive notes that are represented with the same syllable each time. Oh yeah, and the singing is supposed to be legato (as opposed to staccato), obviously.
Best Usage of Head Voice/Falsetto: A clip that draws particular attention to the singer's head voice and/or falsetto. It doesn't have to be all head voice, but the more important it is made out to be in the clip, the better.

Bear in mind that you can only vote for one category at a time!

Best Live Performance: A live vocal take done during a live show, a stage show or live in studio, etc.
Best Studio Performance: A studio recording of a vocal performance, which may include backing and/or harmony singing.
Free Choice: A clip you thought was interesting in terms of its vocal that you just really want to show off; you can use a song here that you were perhaps saving for a category but didn't get to use.
