Harry Conklin's signature "thunderbolt from hell" vocal style has been at the forefront of some of US power metal's greatest and most underrated bands such as Jag Panzer, Satan's Host, and Titan Force for over 4 decades. His dynamic yet powerful tenor is capable of immense feats of vocal strength in the 5th octave especially, but also in his mid range snarl and occasional burst of harsh vocals (most prominent in his latter day efforts with Satan's Host). His voice has a much higher placement naturally than his macho delivery initially suggests, meaning that his frequently used mid-lower 3rd octave notes are the core of his low register with the occasional instances below being used only in softer, more reflective contexts. Regardless, he implements all aspects of his voice musically and with variation, able to equally play the part of a poetic hero as a demonic villain. Somehow he's not skipped a beat even now being in his 60s, and he continues to perform and record regularly with all the same power and range that defined his classic era. Truly a definitive and top-tier metal singer!

I'm currently leaning towards fifth octave with overtones, after listening to it slowed down. The point where the "sixth" octave sound starts to kick in is right after it makes it up to around F5/F♯5, and then we don't hear any of the in between notes - it just sounds like he jumps an octave seamlessly (while in a slide, no less). Seems quite suspicious to say the least, and I'm not quite sure how that would be possible either...
