As the frontman and lyricist of Kindo, Joey Secchiaroli's smooth, pop-inflected tenor plays a vital role in counterbalancing the band's often jazzy, polyrhythmic explorations. Range-wise, he often stays within his comfort zone, a roughly one and a half octave wide region centered on Middle C, though he has become somewhat more adventurous with his vocal lines after the group's hiatus. His highs are characterized by powerful upper fourth octave belts alongside a clean-sounding falsetto that can capably ascend into the fifth, though it seldom does so. His lows, though soft and underutilized until recently, have started to show a fair bit of volume as well. Overall, a strong singer who largely prioritizes good tone over range for range's sake.
